"Beyond Activism: Four Decades of Social Justice" explores the growth of the Asian American civil rights movement, from its genesis at protests against discriminatory hiring practices and police brutality, to the next stage of advocacy when the groups that were forged in the midst of these demonstrations evolved into community development organizations committed to social justice.

The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 is a 2011 documentary film, Swedish director Göran Olsson, examines the evolution of the Black Power Movement in American society from 1967 to 1975. It features the found footage shot by a group of Swedish Journalists..Three decades, the film canisters sat undisturbed in a cellar beneath the Swedish National Broadcasting Company. Inside was roll after roll of startlingly fresh and candid 16mm footage shot in the 1960s and 1970s in the United States, all of it focused on the anti-war and Black Power movements. When filmmaker Goran Hugo Olsson discovered the footage, he decided he had a responsibility to shepherd this glimpse of history into the world
